Covert Ops

The moment a father hears the words “your daughters have been taken,” every rule changes.
Steve Barker has faced armed men, drug cartels and missions where survival came down to seconds. But nothing prepares him for a ransom demand naming his daughters, Abbie and Bethanie. Worse, the message arrives in a familiar blue-striped envelope—a calling card linked to an enemy from the team’s past and a debt someone intends to collect in blood. Book 5 - The Legacy ebook
The kidnappers want revenge for the death of Henry, the criminal mastermind whose betrayal began years earlier on St Halb. Now his legacy has reached Steve’s family, drawing him, Lucy, Simon, George and Derek into a deadly covert operations thriller where the enemy controls the clock, the ground and the rules. Book 5 - The Legacy ebook
What begins with surveillance and clandestine meetings in Southampton becomes an international hostage rescue mission through Bonaire and into St Kitts. Every contact could be a trap. Every route could be watched. And behind it all stands Alex Acosta, head of one of the Caribbean’s most powerful drug cartels—and the man holding Steve’s daughters. Book 5 - The Legacy ebook
With time running out, the team must rely on military tactics, reconnaissance, sniper overwatch, intelligence gathering, covert infiltration and close-quarters combat to locate the hostages and launch a rescue against an enemy prepared for them.
But Abbie and Bethanie are Barker’s daughters. They have been taught to survive, fight and never surrender.
Packed with British military thriller action, veteran camaraderie, dark humour, tactical realism, drug-cartel warfare and high-stakes hostage rescue, Covert-Ops: The Legacy takes the series somewhere more dangerous than any battlefield before it.
This time, the mission isn’t about money. It’s family. And Steve is bringing his daughters home—or dying in the attempt.
